   Traveling to Jamaica 


When traveling to Jamaica you will need a valid passport. The cheapest ticket I could find from Atlanta to  Montego Bay, Jamaica is 302 US dollar which equals to 45,304 today 9 march if you book it at spirit Airline. The flight is about 3hours 37minutes and they also have one stop which would be at Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood international Airport. When I get to Jamaica there are so many Hotels I can stay and also get them at a cheap price. The best place I found with a reasonable price was Sunflower Escape which is an Airbnb with a total cost of 634 US dollars, which is 95,107 in JM dollars for two weeks. Sunflower Escape is Located 20 minutes outside of Montego Bay en route to Negril,  is also a 5mins walk to the beach and local seafood spot. Chukka Adventures and Dolphin Cove are just minutes away. I can Walk to Sandy Bay town or drive 5mins to Hopewell. And  enjoy dining on a private patio or a chill spot in the yard. They also offer airport transfers and a nice car for rent at affordable rates. In my opinion i do not need a car since everything is close to me. 



















They have places you could go and learn more about their history and culture so I chose Montego Bay Cultural Center. They give visitors a guided tour and tell the history and culture of Jamaicans from 1492 to present. The tour allows visitors to see the real Jamaica and Jamaican communities inside out, they tell you about their culture and sample Jamaican fruits in season. The tour will cost about 36 dollars, and after the day you will learn a lot about Jamaica. The sell street food which are way cheaper than the restaurant's food depending on what you are buying three meals per day cost about 10 US dollars which equals to 1,480 JM dollars. So all together I say I will spend about 18,001 JM dollars for the two week. 



During the day these are the things I could do horseback riding on the beach side in the Caribbean sea, river tubing, and hiking  outdoor adventure from Montego Bay. This tour will allow me to get to know the western part of the island of Jamaica, where I can also go ziplining and rappelling. And trying some of the  traditional Jamaican lunch and round-trip transportation. All this comes in a package which will cost about 169 dollar. I would like to visit Seven Mile Beach (Negril Beach) because you can go for boat rides, scuba diving, and snorkeling while you’re there, or forego everything, lounge in the sand and sip on coconuts. Which are some of the best things to do while on vacation. 



 My budget was 2,000 US dollars which equals 300,023 JM dollars. And I spent about 189,165 JM dollars for the whole trip, food, and activities.
